High Speed Sync Photography

Updated: Apr 1

As hard as it may seem, these photos were taken during late afternoon. This method is referred to as HSS or high speed sync photography. My strobe light and camera are able to release at 1/800 of a second. This quick opening of the shutter only allows a very small fraction of whatever light is outside. Normally, the photo would then have come out black. This was not the case today though because at that precise moment , my strobe hit Savannah Perez with 400w ( of light) leaving this great effect.
